Appalling in Northfield Birmingham

I went for an eye test as I was getting headaches at work as I work on VDU machine all day and my vision was getting worse. The optician advised I did need glasses for work and even advised me to have the coating put on to cut down the glare from my screen. As I was on my lunchbreak I could not get the glasses that day but the lady said she would get the optician to complete the form for my employer as they contribute to glasses for VDU use.
Went back sunday to first having to wait over 20 minutes as they could not find my details, eventually they found them but on the form they had only ticked general use, I queried this to my amazement the assistant said because I used them for reading this was general use, even though I need them for VDU also. I have spoken to manager today who has confimed they will not change it. I have spoken to lots of people at work and they all use theirs for reading but still has VDU ticked on their form, one of my collegues actually went to specsavers. Any people in Northfield avoid this store.
