Ordered two sets of six glasses to replace some breakages amongst our existing sets. Order acknowledgment, check. Order delivery notification, not precise (when sent but no expected delivery date). Delivery, a disaster -- glasses left unprotected on my front step with my bin bizarrely positioned in front of them as a kind of weird "take this box" banner.
Turns out one of the sets was the smaller Aperitivo version of the glasses I wanted so I called Customer Service and was told to return them in the original packaging and that there was no facility to exchange for the glasses I wanted nor any facility for returns beside Royal Mail. Original packaging cost 50% of the cost of the glasses to send back!!! ARE YOU KIDDING ME?!
What a total contrast with another return I made the same day with which the supplier sent a MyHermes label -- all I did was attach the MyHermes label to the package I wanted to return and it was scanned and logged at a super convenient drop-off centre (closer than my Post Office) and sent at no cost to me at all!
NO WAY I am ordering my next replacement set of glasses in the larger size from drinkstuff.com, if for no other reason that the neighbours are going to start wondering about the bin blocking my door....
