I made a large purchase for a home delivery on Tuesday, which I paid extra to be delivered on Wednesday. Part of it was delivered as expected early on Wednesday. However they as far as I can tell they did not attempt to bring the rest of it until Thursday, even though I have been home the whole time waiting for this package. I then checked the updates again at around 11 today, to see they had apparently attempted to deliver but were unable so left their calling card. I checked our mail, and there was no calling card. Therefor I had to go through to the company I made the purchase from, and basically was told after they had spoken to someone from Yodel that according to their GPS, they had visited our flat and therefor cannot attempt to re-deliver today, or give any sort of refund. However I live in a large block of flats, so I don't see how GPS can be an accurate way of determining if they're in the right place.
Considering I paid extra for it to be delivered on Wednesday, and have been waiting at home for this delivery to be told they have attempted and they'll just try again tomorrow in a casual sort of way, even though I have been here the whole time so it's clearly their guy being incompetent, when I've made a £1000+ order with delivery asap is a joke.
