Unacceptable behavior

I bought a GHD iron, when it arrived I noticed that it was faulty (the plates was scratched), so I contact immediately the lookfantastic customer care for a replacement. They answer to me that they don't respond to manufacturing defect, and that I had to apply to GHD warranty service in my country (Italy). Fine, except for the fact that I don't have any proof of purcase, a ticket, an invoice, nothing at all. GHD Italy told me that I can't have a replacement without a proof of purchase, obviously. So I contact the lookfantastic customer care again, asking for the proof of purchase, one, two, three, FOUR TIMES, and everytime they told me they will send me an invoice as soon as possible, but instead they haven't sent me nothing at all. It is 18 days now since my first request, and no one bothers to fill a damn invoice and send me by email. In the meantime, I spent a lot of money for having just a fancy ornement in my bathroom, a useless iron not even covered by warranty.

In order to allow us to look into this for you and arrange a positive resolution, please provide us with your order number.

You should not be required to provide proof of postage and should be able to use the 'date code' printed on the label that is located on the tongues, if proof of purchase is required however, you are able to use your dispatch confirmation email that you received from us. Of course if for any reason you cannot provide these for GHD, we will be more than happy to arrange for an invoice to be created for you.

First and last horrible experience

I placed my order on Beautybay the 29 August, for the very first time: a conditioner Sebastian, the price was lower than elsewhere in web. I thought: where is the catch? I would find out soon. The time for delivering was extimated 5 - 7 working days, after 10 days I went to my postal office to ask some news about my package, it wasn't there. So I wrote to the Beautybay customer service asking for the expedition number, then I contacted italian mail service. A very patient guy put the number in the system a few times, trying to find my package, in vain, then he told me that he has never seen an expedition number like that before, that usually the uk expedition numbers has a different format, and finally he concluded: "Miss, I think you was swindled". A little annoyed, I wrote another mail to Beautybay, they answer me I have to wait at least 20 working days to have the right to complain. Seriously? It means a MONTH to claim my money back? Are you kidding me? It's been 3 weeks now, it seems obvious to me that any package will not arrive anymore: it may have been lost, stolen, or even never dispatched, as far as I know.
At this point, all I want is my money back, so I can buy my conditioner from someone else, more serious and fair whit his own customers. I'm totally done with Beautybay.

I am sorry to hear that your order did not arrive. Whilst the majority of orders do arrive within the time frames given, there can on occasion be delays with local postal services. We do offer an Express Delivery Service, if you do need your order quickly.

We are not able to declare a parcel as Lost until 20 working days have passed - if you have not received the parcel after this time, do let our Customer Service team know and they will be happy to help resolve this with you.
