Too much contact

My appliance was delivered on time as stated and was in good condition as I expected
This is the first time I have used this company I normally use Amazon wich is straight forward one e-mail to confirm order, I have had five e-mails, five texts and three phone calls from, far, far too much contact for me.

I'm pleased to hear that your appliance arrived on time and in good condition; we expect no less!

However, I'm sorry to learn that you feel you received too many communications. It's not an easy task to balance a service which is standardised for all customers; some customers, like yourself, would rather have confirmation and nothing else, whereas landlords, for example, want themselves and their tenants to each be informed.

Delivery of large kitchen appliances differs from most items that Amazon themselves distribute, and a standard, doorstep delivery is not what we offer. As we offer services, recycling for example, we feel it's necessary to give customers additional information and to check that the appliance is absolutely for them. It's this level of customer service that sets us apart from most retailers.

We do of course listen to our customers though and, as I have now located your order, I've sent your views across to our Quality team as we value all customer feedback. Whether positive or negative, our customer's comments are taken seriously.
