I ordered a table lamp which the website claimed was 'in stock', I had one email confirming my order but saying there would be a 8 day delay getting the lamp in stock. Almost 3 weeks later I had heard nothing further and the lamp hadn't appeared. I emailed them and received a standard 'we will get back to you' email. I then received an email saying the lamp was on its way - it almost feels like my email finally spurred them into action. The lamp arrived all in one piece and is great but I would be reluctant to order from this website again due to delays and lack of email updates. Beware the 'in stock' tag.
I've recently received a Smeg fridge freezer from ao.com. I ordered online - all very easy to do, cheaper than other on-line retailers and in stock. Ao.com telephoned me later to confirm the purchase and arrange a delivery time to suit me, the lady on the phone was really helpful, friendly and accommodating.
The delivery day came and I received a text with my delivery man's name and phone number in case I needed to contact him
The fridge freezer arrived with no problem, exactly what I ordered and has been working well ever since.
