I wanted to book a trip to Singapore and the prices on Budget Air were excellent. I have booked well over 100 trips in the last 10 years and I know how booking services are supposed to work (at least all that are competent). Budget Air managed to violate every known rule, from a input window that refused to allow more than one person to be booked (I tried 3 times), to providing a telephone link to customer service that took me to the Philippines and a person who spoke English with a mouthful of bad mush. During our 17 minutes conversation he left the line 4 times for a total of 9 minutes, asked me questions that had nothing to do with the booking, wanted to know the email address of the bank that issued my Visa card (I have no idea), could not get it through his head that the person's name I had provided as my emergency contact was not me, and eventually sent an email to that person's address but addressed to me confirming a reservation that he said he had cancelled. After being put on hold for the 4th time and waiting for 3 minutes, I hung up. Even though I quit halfway through the process, I still got a message that confirmed my reservation. Idiocy. This is not Budget air, It is Forget it Air.
