I decided to check my ONLINE account with SCOTTISH POWER on 13th February 2014 and discovered that I was £289.07 in CREDIT !
Asked for a refund of the full amount, with NO RESULT.
Phoned customer service only to be told that all my ACTUAL METER READINGS sent in by me, regularly at their request, had been disregarded (ignored) and that they had USED estimates for my ACCOUNT !
I was then told that I was only £23.82 in CREDIT !!!!
They had previously sent a Meter Reader to my house to take a meter reading last OCTOBER, yet when I checked my account ONLINE I was confirmed to have £161.07 in CREDIT on 02 December !
Still NO REFUND as of 31 March 2014 - WHAT A SHAMBLES !
Don't know if this is incompetence or a very subtle FRAUD but as yet I have received no e-Mails or letters explaining what is going on Needless to say I am in the process of SWITCHING to a more honest and competent supplier. I am ashamed as a Scot to be a customer of this shower of cowboys.
Had a short deadline for my delivery (a gift) which had to be aboard an Emirates flight to NZ that same week - was reassured my package would arrive in Glasgow within the time frame. Pleasantly surprised when it did and with a few days to spare ! Big thanks to the Fragrance Direct sales team !
Tried some local Car Breakers, and the prices were higher, and the part was not found. The elusive part was obtained online, with no hassle, and a price that was no worse than the local yards, even accounting for postage. Try it yourself, you will be pleasantly surprised.
