Zavvi

Utterly useless and not to be trusted

I have had 2 orders with Zavvi. After the first debacle I swore I wouldn't shop with them again. How I wish I had stuck to that vow!

My first order was a pre-order for a game that I was promised would be delivered on release date. It was not. It was actually 2 days later. Not the worst thing in the world but as I had pre-ordered it I expected it on my doormat the day it came out as I was assured it would be by Zavvi.

Now onto my second order. I placed an order for a game (on a Monday), which stated it was "in stock" on the website. 24 hours later (Tues) and it still hadn't even been picked or dispatched. When I raised this with customer service they informed me that they were trying to locate stock. So NOT "in stock" as stated in the website. Needless to say, it was dispatched the next day. I was given an estimated delivery date of 3 days later. It came 4 days later. During this time I had messaged customer service only to have my message completely ignored! Now the game has arrived, it is not wrapped in cellophane as a new game should be and it is missing it's internal instruction booklet. Yet again I have messaged customer service. No response.

This company is beyond a joke. If you want to receive your item "whenever" and possibly pre-owned (as I suspect mine is) with no help whatsoever from their customer service dept then happy shopping!

Giffgaff

Law breakers and don't give a damn about their customers

As a giffgaff member for a long time I was happy with my service until I had a problem. This is where giffgaff fails. Spectacularly.

Giffgaff like to use the community of users to help people solve their problems rather than rely on a customer service department.

There are however a number of things that can only be solved by contacting an "agent" as they call them. This can only be done via the website by raising an issue on the site itself. No email, no calls, no immediate contact. You can be left waiting anywhere from 24-48 hours before you get a response.

After hitting a problem with their "goody bags" I had to contact an agent. Not only was I left waiting for well over 24 hours for a response, when they did respond it was nothing to do with what I originally asked. Nearly EIGHT messages later and I was no further forward. After about 11 messages, I finally got a response which more or less said, no, can't help you, not interested in resolving the issue n don't care. In short, they took my £15 n didn't wanna know.

If you want to be robbed blind by this company and have your money taken with no interest in resolving any problems you might have, this is the network for you!
