Having been told that my package was to be delivered between 09.50 and 10.50, i recieved an unexpected call from a lady at interlink asking me to confirm the number of my flat. Having given her the details i expected a confused driver to show up with my parcel sometime soon after. The parcel never arrived and there was no sign of the driver at all. I tracked the parcel online with the consignment number to find that it would be delivered 3 days later on the Monday not the Friday. I rung customer services to be told that their had been some confusion over the first line of my address and that the driver had tried to deliver but the parcel was refused....um hello you were at the wrong address..of course it would be refused!! The lady informed me that the local depot would be contacted and that they would inform the driver to re-deliver in the afternoon..but they couldn't promise he would. My package was v expensive and was specifically needed for that day. Let down completely. The original depot had somehow marked my address wrong i believe! I was steaming the entire weekend!
