Incompetent, ignorant, farcical company

We have just moved into a new house and ordered a TV and washing machine from Curry's. We paid for express delivery but when the two 'engineers' arrived last Sunday without any notification, we were informed they didn't have the correct plugs to mount the TV on the wall. They also told us to go to B&Q to buy more suitable plugs which we stupidly did as should be their responsibility to provide the correct tools. My partner received a phone call an hour later to say they'd be back Thursday or Friday (5 days later) but would give us a call in advance.

On Thursday morning I received a phone call whilst out shopping from an engineer saying he was standing in my kitchen waiting to install TV. When I asked why we weren't informed half an hour before, he said he had no number. Strange since they called on Sunday. The ignoramus said he would arrange it for the following day so we waited from 8 in morning to 8 in evening and nobody showed up. I called to complain and the person I spoke to had the customer service skills of a newt.

We decided to drive to store we purchased items in and complain to a manager in person and he said they come on the Sunday a full week after TV first arrived. I sat there on Sunday and when they finally arrived over an hour late, I was informed the brackets which we were sold by the idiot sales woman in Curry's was the wrong size and told me to go back and get a different bracket. He then proceeded to tell us how to put TV up ourselves despite paying 110 pounds for installation. Absolute joke and I am going back to get a refund and will ask someone more than 2 brain cells to mount TV. Avoid at all costs as very stressful experience.
