8 year old daughter upset

We ordered a mattress and memory foam pillows at the Sittingbourne store on Saturday 5 October, spending nearly £1000. At that time we discussed the price match policy and various other terms and conditions. They also gave my daughter a bear (I believed to be free, not realising there were conditions attached) for being so well behaved. She kept this bear with her the entire weekend. We duly went home, searched the internet and found two similar mattresses from the same manufacturer, as per their price match policy. We telephoned the Dreams Customer Service Team to tell them of this. However, they refused to match the items saying they were not exactly the same. Their website states very similar from same manufacturer. Obviously they will use any means at their disposal to avoid matching items. We decided to cancel the order and were told that we had to go into the store to complete the paperwork and to bring back the items we had taken with us, namely the pillows and a free mattress protector. When they asked that we also return the bear, I could not believe my ears. Suffice to say due to the callousness of Dreams, I now have a very upset and unhappy 8 year old daughter. Shame on you. Lets just say I will never be frequenting any of your stores again.
