Truly appalling service as sender

In summary, delivered a damaged parcel, late, accused me of lying, are not contactable, do not contact in case of problems.

My parcel was collected OK, and the website said it would be delivered the next day, 5th October.

The recipient waited all day with no sign, and I also didn't hear anything. They hide their contact details (it's 0845 3061234 or 0844 8240516), so there is no way to contact them - just the website where you hope they might reply.

Parcel is then delivered on Monday; Driver refuses to let the parcel be inspected - a shame, as they managed to seriously damage it.

I then receive emails from their "customer services" telling me that the parcel would never have been delivered on the 5th as it's a Saturday - direct contradiction to the date given on the website.

After phoning them, I'm then in fact told it's because the parcel was over-weight. They basically accuse me of lying, claiming my parcel was 1.5 stones heavier than it was.

Their (Brenda's - unhelpful and supercilious) explanation for no contact on Saturday? Terms and conditions - they do not contact anyone if there's a problem!

Thinking of positives: the guy who picked up the parcel was friendly and helpful. The booking process is pretty simple.

Do not use them.
