247 Blinds

Simple...

Recently purchased venetian blind from 247 Blinds, it's now hanging and looks great.

Ordering process: Simple and straight forward; you provide the measurements of the necessary window, they tell you how much and you agree or not.

Delivery: No need to worry about express delivery... ordered Thursday afternoon and it arrived Tuesday due to the bank holiday.

The Blind: Very nice

Cons: The only negative thing I would have to say it the screws etc are provided, but such a simple thing of wall plugs wouldn't hurt as well as higher quality cord cleat.

I hire a car weekly and shop around for best price and recently AVIS have been very good however this was a little frustrating:

Hired a car (April 2011) which was all fine but on return left the vehicle with a full tank of fuel and still got charged... Fortunately I hire on a weekly basis and always take a picture of the readout so the charge has been refunded, but a hassle to go through the statements each time and chase.

But has happened in the past with other providers so always worth a general consideration when hiring...

Easyjet

Don't book more than 1 bag or take more than 20kg!

I will start by saying generally Easyjet are a good airline apart from a few delays here and there, but please read on and do not get stung by this hide behind the small print policy...

I'm a reasonable individual that expects to pay for what they use, but this tactic is out and out robbery...

I booked and paid for 2 check-in cases on an Easyjet flight (Dec 2010) as knew I wanted to take a few extra items home... I Arrived at the airport to be told "you have 18kg excess baggage" the short version is you can book up to 8 cases, however here is the sting... you can still only take 20kg total weight:

1 case = 20kg total
2-8 cases = 20kg total

You will be charged for each case but the weight is still only 20kg total and you will be given the privilege of being charged 20chf (£14) per kg over the 20kg limit!!!!!
