Just Eat

Unfair Pricing

I'm coming across many takeaways that are either putting up prices or increasing the delivery charges when you order via Just-Eat. One example is 'Wok Express' in Watford that charge £2 delivery via Just-Eat yet if you order directly from the Chinese Restaurant it's only £1. Now this is just one example I have over 25 others throughout the London and Herts area doing similar scams. Going back to 'Wok Express' in Watford they are making thousands each and every year, by literally breaking their contract with Just-Eat and ripping customers off - it's not fair and it's not right.

Why should customers be penalised just because companies have to pay a little extra for the privilege of getting extra custom. Now Just-Eat need to start coming down on these business owners heavily, they need to recruit more staff to check on these companies before we start losing confidence and stop ordering by Just-Eat.

Hey Mike,

Sorry to hear about this, we take these issues seriously. As you know all the menus and delivery charges should be the same whether you order through us, another online medium or if you order directly with the takeaway.

We'd like to look into the takeaways that you've found this to be the case with. We do find takeaways but always appreciate when a customer finds issues such as these before we may have! :)

The email to send those details is trustpilot@just-eat.co.uk
