Whoever designed the website should get an award as she really nailed the decision-making process. We needed a fridge freezer we could store in our garage and got one through an easy, smooth transaction. The product video and the pages where you compare product specifications made making the right decision very easy. We also found “top 5 recommendation” helpful too. There were a few discrepancies between the information on your site and the manufacturer’s (environment temperature range for one); but as we referred to both during the purchase process we could buy with confidence. Delivery was a dream, very quick with polite helpful delivery driver; we were able to use eco delivery as the lorry was going to our area already. We knew when the appliance was going to arrive via various messages and contacts; maybe a bit OTT for us as we work from home, but I am sure this is helpful for others.
Having travelled the length and breadth of the north east with my mother to find a bathroom cabinet to suit her new bathroom. I knew what she wanted, but just couldn't find it. I resorted to using the internet and found this as the best price option on a comparison site. It is exactly what she wanted and she is really please with it. However the purchasing experience was tainted a little by the problems with the delivery. Due to my mum's home being situated in a cul de sac the delivery driver chose to park on a nearby through-road. My mother is 80 said she had a bit of a battle to get the delivery made to her home. This sort of thing is a nightmare for me as I live 280 miles away from her so am not able to help. Although I gave 2 contact telephone numbers neither was called to alert us of the delivery and the email confirming despatch came 3 days after delivery!
I recently booked flights for my mother, will not do again if I could avoid it.
She bought food on outward flight and said that it was so dreadful she didn't eat it and had never had such a poor sandwich in her life (she's 80, so that's going some)
Poor signage / passenger support resulted in signficant queus and delays getting out of Rhodes airport. Absolute mayhem
On top of flight charges we had to pay £16 to change seats on each flight as she was allocated a seat in the back row - not acceptable for a little old lady; but quite a good revenue generating scam.
We also tried to get some assistance to help her with boarding as she had broken both her wrists and had just had her plasters removed. As directed on the website we contacted a premium rate number and explained her needs. When we refused the offer of a wheelchair (she would have been mortified) we were told that they would get back to us. they did get back, 2 days after her outward flight to say that no support could be provided
Although in the catalogue 1st choice mattress was out of stock - how hard can it be to have correct data on the internet site?. Courier delivered wrong mattress and accessories, right mattress delivered about an hour later, after lots of phone calls, but opened box to find only one rather than 2 pillows. Subsequent delivery of pillow in very tight bundle - memory foam mis-shapen and lumpy
