Just Eat

Good! But could be better...

Its really good that you can find all your local takeaways and menus on this site, it really is an excellent concept that I have used for nearly a year. However I feel on several occasions the restaurant has let down the process by being slow to deliver/missed items. This isn't Just Eats fault, but I think that they should look at customer reviews from time to time and if they see restaurants under performing or getting constant negative reviews then they should be taken off the site.

My least favorite thing about JustEat is actually the website. It seems very sloppy, all over the place, some menus are ridiculously long and should be categorized. Some items require multiply choice and dont seem to be supported by the website, hence having to leave long notes in the notes section, it just feels really sloppy.

Overall it serves a purpose and the end result is food without hassle :-)

Thank you for your balanced review and constructive critique. I am glad you find the Just Eat concept useful and effective overall. I am very interested in the points you have raised regarding the quality of service provided by certain takeaways and the design of our site. I would like to address these individually if I may.

You have mentioned experiences in which the takeaway have failed to deliver the service you deserve. I would like to apologise on behalf of the takeaway concerned for these past issues. We are looking into ways of guaranteeing a standard of quality from our partner takeaways in the future. At present, if issues such as those you have experienced occur, our contact centre are pleased to assist in finding a resolution. Please be assured that feedback is taken on board and if a takeaway consistently fails to deliver, we do have a process by which we identify the source of the problem and then work with the takeaway to improve on this element.

The Just Eat website is currently under-going review and we have plans for major re-development in the future which will take into account the feedback from users such as yourself. We are aware of certain design issues which will also be targeted in due course.
