Not a good start.

I'd previously used HiFX some years ago when the service I needed was available by phone. This time I needed to transfer less than £10000 which can now only be done online. It should have been simple but was let down a number of times as the promised activation never happened. Despite ringing back to say I was still waiting to to able to use the site nothing happened once again. It was not until 3 days later and further phone calls were made that I finally had an active account. Once up and running it was very easy to use! So not the best start really.

Thanks for taking the time to post your review.

Occasionally our anti-fraud department will perform enhanced security checks on new and returning customers which can lead to delays in accounts being opened.

Trust me when I say that I completely understand how frustrating this can be.

Not that it helps, but we are simply complying with UK anti-money laundering rules and regulations.

I can therefore only apologise on behalf of the team for any inconvenience caused. I hope however, you'll understand that we are only acting with your best interests at heart as we take the security of client funds very seriously.

That said we're always looking at new ways to improve our processes and I'll pass your comments on to our Compliance Team.
