when is an order not an order ? when it's from bathshop 321

I ordered an item from bathshop 321 on 15th august received e mail confirmation on the same day. on the 16th august received e mail saying goods had been despatched. 5 days later phoned to enquire when would I be receiving goods that had been "despatched" only to be told they hadn't been despatched and weren,t going to be despatched because bathshop 321 didn,t have the goods in stock.
I,ve found Bathshop 321 to be inept and incompetent. Why send an email stating goods have been despatched ?
Never again will bathstore 321 be used by myself and I certainly won't recommend to any one else.

Hello James,

Really disappointed to read your feedback and subsequently the order that never was.

The bath tap was always a stock item but after looking at sales on this product it was decided that that the product would be sent out direct by the manufactures to you the customer directly, this is why the mix up has happened regarding the paperwork, I do apologise for this and with your feedback we have put into place a new system so you will not receive a despatch note from us until we get confirmation the product has left the manufactures.

I do sincerely apologise but would like to stress this is an isolated case.
