My Amazon parcel was being delivered by DPD and initially was scheduled for delivery for Tuesday 1st of October. On Tuesday morning I received a text message with the name of the delivery driver and the 1 h delivery window plus 3 options - to leave the parcel with neighbor or reschedule delivery for the following day or the day after.
Rescheduled the delivery for the following day - Wednesday - and straight away I received a confirmation text.
On Wednesday I received a new text message again with the name of the delivery driver and the 1 h delivery window plus a link to the parcel tracking web page which had google maps, estimated time of delivery, my place in the queue, the progress of the driver, all in real time.
The parcel did get delivered within the estimated 1h slot.
The webpage worked on both my desktop and on my mobile.
Great experience and hope to use again this courier soon.
