Before purchasing my Venetian Blind I checked out the fitting instruction video, it was pathetic. Filmed in semi-darkness with the instructor muttering with back to camera and half the fitting already done off camera. I though I'll wait until the blind comes and use the written instructions, there weren't any!
I was able to figure out how the brackets were fixed and screwed them to the face of the window then realised that the blind would not sit properly because one of the brackets was to close to the winding gear (absolutely no prior warning). I was able to move the bracket along the window face but had I screwed up through the plaster & brick lintels it would have been a much more messy procedure with holes and rawplugs.
Quite happy with blind itself and the delivery was quick with standard charge but the instructions (or lack of) - very poor.
