Purchased product from the UK to be installed in the US? Not a good idea.
When the handles for my sink faucet did not fit, that was the beginning of a reoccurring nightmare. The spout leaked and could not be corrected. I ordered a replacement (from HR) w/ a different length, different design. Now the nipple on replacement is of a different diameter to the rough-in that's in the wall! In the US these threaded nipples are not part of the spout.
I have needed to "work around" all of these issues with finding parts, working with machinists, etc. to resolve these fittings. HudsonReed customer service is difficult to contact as the hours are in the middle of the night, and the wait time can be 30mins or longer. In the end, the best HR could do was refund my money. However, we are still without sink fixtures, and still working to resolve. The bathroom was completed 3 weeks ago. It's quite possible we will need to break through new tile and wall. arggggh.
