A year ago I ruptured an Achilles tendon. As part of my rehabilitation I attended gym sessions at a local NHS hospital Physiotherapy department. The exercises included using a balance board to help retrain my proprioception. To start with these exercises were very difficult but I felt that they were doing me a lot of good.
Now I no longer attend the Physiotherapy department, I decided I should try to keep up with the exercises, including the ones to maintain/improve my balance. So I have bought the 20 inch rocker board for use at home - ordered online and delivered within a 3 days. It is early days, but the product seems to be robust and of very good quality, and I am using it almost every as part of my exercise regime.
