the worst customer service imaginable - charlatans at CS

Would you ship a box set in packaging as thick as a standard letter halfway around the world? I don't think anyone would, but Zavvi does. 3 out of 3 shipments arrived damaged. When I complained, they sent a system generated reply (if not, then it was a complete idiot), that said "we're sorry to hear you haven't received all your order but if you wait ...". I read about their atrocious CS. They will try and fob you off. My suggestion is contact them through their site, through twitter and through facebook, and don't stop until you are satisfied. They responded to me intelligently through facebook where they offered a 10% discount. I refused and offered to return items saying NO-ONE WOULD BUY THESE IF THEY WERE ADVERTISED 10% OFF for DAMAGED GOODS. They upped it to 33% and I settled. I will never buy from them again unless they CAN GUARANTEE ITEMS WILL BE SENT PROPERLY PACKAGED
