800+ Reviews disappeared from Google - Response: Go & See Google!

I've been with Trustpilot for years now and my team works extremely hard to provide high levels of service to our clients which is reflected in the positive reviews we receive. We have had our Trustpilot reviews showing in Google Shopping results since the beginning of that time. They have disappeared from Google's results as of this weekend, so I contacted Trustpilot via phone, email and then Twitter this morning without any response. Tried ringing back 5 hours later and finally got through to someone who told me politely, but firmly to "Go and take it up with Google".
I'm pretty sure I'm not the only one this has happened to and I would have expected some background information and some better advice on how to handle this serious problem. Sending me to Google support when you know fine well that they will either sit on it for weeks/months (or not take any action at all) is totally unacceptable!
I now feel like going directly to "Google Places" review section for all my reviews in future, then I won't have to worry about the visibility of our 'hard earned reviews'.

I'm sorry to hear that your reviews are not showing correctly on Google, and that you did not receive a reply from us as quickly as you expected. We aim to answer all queries as quickly as possible.

I have looked into your case and have spoken to our technical support team. They have confirmed that we are sending the correct information to Google on time. However we do not have any control over how the information is displayed by Google, and cannot influence or guarantee if, when or how reviews appear – this is decided solely by Google. Accordingly we would have to suggest in this case that you contact Google directly for assistance.

Theres plenty of sports good shops out there who do offer refunds (like the rest of the retail world). I hope you'll consider joining me in not shopping here so that they change their ways or go bust. Either suits me.

Same old Currys service unfortunately

Bought a basic £54 microwave yesterday and waited ages as there were only 2 staff in the whole place to take payment. Then the girl on the checkout tried to push me a £12 product insurance policy by telling me that if I didnt take it and there were any in warranty faults that they would have to send it away for up to a month to be repaired (rather than replace it like any decent retailer).

Sharp practise, badly trained staff.
