So we have special guests this weekend so decided to order online to save time. Our order was supposed to be delivered between 8 and 9 last night but nobody turned up, no communication, no notifications, nothing. At 10pm we phoned them to find out what was going on and they said they would call back but they didn't. At 10.30pm we had heard nothing so we called them again and were told they were running 2hrs late, but our delivery was just round the corner. They offered us £5 as compensation at that stage - ridiculous!! By 11.45 I was pretty tired and gave up and went to bed. At 7am this morning we called them again and were told they could deliver this afternoon so knowing there would be nobody here I told them to cancel the order. Unbelievably rubbish on so many fronts and not what you expect from a company like Tesco.
