Highly effective company
I really cannot fault the goods, pricing, service and delivery from this company. They set high standards and meet them. I have never been disappointed.

Need to be clearer on stock situation and refunds
I bought a set of heating controls online; there's no indication of stock at the point of purchase when the credit card is charged. I needed the parts quickly. It then transpired a day later that the parts were not only not in stock, but in one case would take another two weeks. I cancelled immediately but the refund did not go through until I called the office to find out where it was. It was then processed immediately.
Two actions needed here: firstly the stock situation should be transparent on ordering, and the credit card should not be billed until the goods are shipped; secondly, refunds should be processed immediately and not require follow up.

Reliable and does what it says on the tin
Can't knock Big Dug; you get what you pay for and it works. Prices are fair, my only gripe is the very high cost of next day delivery.
