Defective product - my cost for a plumber adding up

The plumber's first visit was to replace the cartridge in my shower valve. The first cartridge I was sent that I was told would fit the valve was the wrong one so he was unable to fix the shower. Customer service was helpful and sent me another cartridge that was supposed to fit. The plumber's next visit resulted in discovering that this cartridge wouldn't go all the way in, so he could not fix the shower then. So he decided to call Hudson Reed to talk to someone about why it would not fit and was told that many of these cartridges were defective . So now the plumber is scheduled to come on yet another call and GRIND PART OF THE CARTRIDGE to MAKE IT FIT. Wow, great product and it is costing me plenty to have this shower valve fixed because I can't get quality parts.

Hello Mr Meek, I am very sorry to hear you are having problems with your cartridge. I have emailed you a video explaining how to change the cartridge and have called and spoken to your wife. I can assure you our cartridges have Never been faulty, all cartridges are made in-house and are quality tested so there must have been a misunderstanding.
