5* Plus for Fabulous customer service!

I ordered a basin on Mon. and it was delivered on Wed. Despite being incredibly well wrapped (miles of bubblewrap round the box) and clearly marked as fragile, it had been badly damaged in transit. I e-mailed on Wed evening, had a reply 1st thing Thurs and a replacement was dispatched almost immediately. I spoke on the phone with Deb and she was so helpful and polite. Clickbasin deserve 5* plus for customer service, but sorry to say I've only given them 4, thanks to Yodel's poor service. ( I would have received the basin today, except the carrier took it back to the depot having made no attempt to deliver - I was home all day ) Unfortunately most carrier services seem to be created equal when it comes to customer service!


How can they call themselves a 'Service'? - It's a nonsense!

Ordered a ceramic basin on Monday, which despite being amazingly wrapped protected and marked FRAGILE arrived in bits. It was on this occasion left with a neighbour. NO card was left. The supplier was amazing (why they still use Yodel is beyond me) and sent replacement right away. It was 'out for delivery' this morning, so I took the day of work and stayed in all day. I checked tracking when it still hadn't arrived at 1645 only to discover 'unable to gain timely access' at 1309. We have controlled door access. NO attempt was made to deliver. My buzzer was NOT pressed. 2 of my neighbours were also in. No card was left. I don't have a number to call. I've tried the automated help, which wasn't. Found a number for depot on inet. There was a message saying the phone service would cease on 30th november , then it just rang out. Have called it several times. Don't know what I'm supposed to do now. I'm not able to go to the depot, even if I could find it. This truly is appalling!

Update Sat: So I had mail from Customer 'Services' asking if the address was correct as the parcel was out for delivery. I replied that it was the same address that their courier managed to deliver the smashed parcel to on Wed. But of course, after me waiting in all day AGAIN, they 'couldn't gain access' - translated as 'courier couldn't be bothered to drive round corner and make delivery'. i have asked them to send the original courier with my parcel, since it is outwith the competence of this one to deliver a parcel. I await the reply - supposing I get one - with interest!
