We were given a delivery time of 7am to 9pm today so my wife stayed in all day. The tracking said that it was out for delivery at 9.55am from the Lichfield depot and didn't change until 9.10pm when it suddenly changed to 'No one to receive Card Left at 10.25am'. This is an absolute joke on three counts. Firstly, my wife was in all day and no one rang the bell or knocked on the door. Secondly no card was left even if they had tried to deliver the parcel, which obviously they didn't. Thirdly, the only way they could have got to my house by 10.25 is in a plane, and I'm pretty sure that Yodel don't deliver by plane. Basically they didn't even attempt to deliver the parcel but feel it's ok to lie about it. But what really grates is the fact that the driver had our contact number but couldn't be bothered to let us know he wouldn't be coming.
And now we have to go through the same charade again, knowing that Yodel will only deliver if they can be bothered, and if they can't it doesn't really matter because the only people that suffer is us.
