I am shocked to see so many ppl have reviewed this company positively. I've only had bad experiences. My boyfriend bought me a cooking course for my birthday and I'd already been on it in the past. So, of course I thought to change it. Which seemed easy enough. He had received a discount when he booked because of the company he worked at (a perk). I found out that because I wanted to change the voucher the discount was no longer applicable and I had to pay full price. Okay, fine. But when I was browsing the website it appeared a lot less was available to exchange. I.e none of the 2 for 1 spa discounts came up for me to exchange my voucher for and I had only full price options. Which was okay but I wanted a treatment that was only available as a discounted option and couldn't have it at all.
Anyways, I decided to take my parents out for dinner at a nice hotel. Three courses for two ppl for £100.00. But when I arrived at the restaurant the menu said 3 courses for £25.00 per person. If I had used my voucher I would have lost £50.00. I thought maybe this was a special deal but our server said they always had this offer on.
So I kept my voucher and ended up buying a spa package at a high-end spa in Nottinghill. The treatment was lovely, but they left out half of the stuff that was included in the description. A foot massage, milk bath and foot scrub. I never received any of it. Then the lady at the till rang up my total and told me the total cost was £70.00... and I had paid £100.00 for the voucher??? I don't know where that £30.00 went but that is quite a significant mark up! I won't ever buy a buyagift voucher again, it's only been a headache.
