akinika is one of the worst companies I have ever had the misfortune to deal with.
When they called me they claimed to be Her Majesties Revenue and Customs calling about tax credits. It soon turned out that the akinika employee was being dishonest as they did not have information which HMRC have.
akinika claimed that i have been overpaid tax credits and that I have received and ignored a letter they have sent me.
Neither is true.
The akinika staff refused to log the dispute and refused to investigate, they simply demand I make payment to them Immediately. They even refused to provide information about their company, even their address.
akinika have a website but it doesn't list the companies registered address, or any address. It doesn't list the companies registration details or status. There is no provision to make a complaint.
This company doesn't care for normal uk trading laws or debt collection regulations.
Had one or two blips with returns but that is most likely the fault of MyHermes but impossible to tell for sure.
0870 number for customer services - so not mobile friendly but the products are generally great with zips being the weak link on own brand jackets and coats. Excellent choice of most things but if you want it get it quick as things do go out of stock quickly.
After selling a product and receiving payment through paypal i shipped it confidently. However when the buyer received it they decided they wanted it cheaper and paypal removed the whole amount from my account. This meant i had no product and no money.
Ebay just doesn't care about its customers. It is geared up for handing disputes between buyers and sellers but when ebay gets it wrong you might as well talk to the wall.
Just remember, the bigger they are, the harder they fall. I'm giving up on ebay because they keep ignoring me.
