I order some grip tape for the floor of my track day car, so I guess my order was bigger than the usual amount required to recover a skateboard. I got an email saying basically that "I've checked the quality of the stuff you ordered and it's damaged."
Oh... but:
"And I'm sending you some better stuff instead."
Win!
I had a bunch of old mobiles in a drawer - I mean, who doesn't? - so I decided to make a few pennies from them. Mazuma was almost certainly the simplest way to go. You add a list of IMEI numbers (that's the unique identifier for your mobile) and then they give you a price. They'll even have broken phones off you.
I asked for a free postage pack that arrived a few days later. (You might want to order a couple if you've got a number of phones as the cardboard container was quite tight once packed with four.) If you take it to a Post Office you'll be able to ask for "proof of postage" which covers you for £43 free insurance. (You'd be mad not to.)
A few days later, a cheque arrives in the post. Done.
