Flybe lost my baggage and trying to get them to settle the claim was unbelievably frustrating. They made no effort to trace the baggage, did their best to wriggle out of their responsibilities to replace it and then stopped replying to correspondence completely. They eventually sent a cheque to settle the claim after I threatened to take them to the small claims court. The flights from Newcastle to Gatwick themselves were fine; their baggage claim department are an absolute discredit to the company. I will be avoiding this company in the future; you can judge a company on how they react when things go wrong and Flybe failed impressively.
