Delays, delays, delays. When will this end? And when will we get our products?

We made two separate orders on 21st May this year.

On the 26th September we were informed that the furnitures had arrived to your warehouse in Spain and there were no further delays.

Only 10 days later (on 6th October), we were informed that the delivery was all of a sudden delayed until December!

On December 4th, we were once again notified that the delivery was delayed – again! And now with delivery in January or February 2014!

This equates to a delivery time of 8 months! Frankly speaking, it is difficult to understand how Infurn can continue to operate and be in business as poorly as they handle their customers!!!

We have pre-paid everything and should we expect fraud here as we don't receive the goods paid?

Two chairs have been delivered out of two orders placed with a total of thirteen items ordered in total. For one of the orders, there is not even a sign that the product is in process (the order AU-241657).

We are now at 29 weeks from order – and as far as we can read the terms and conditions for delivery, Infurn have the ability to delays up to a total of 32 weeks (!) but we can thereafter cancel the order. How would this practically work? Basically, this means that if the products are not delivered prior to the second week in January 2014, all orders can be cancelled. How will our pre-paid orders be repaid?

I kindly noticed that we have been credited an amount for the delays but that was unfortunately linked to compulsory new acquisitions which is not highly appreciated given the very low credibility we feel for Infurn and deliveries of new orders.

We are keen to get our products delivered and only regret ever trusting Infurn with our orders. As we are a fairly big real estate owner in Sweden with more than 100 000 sqm of lettable areas in our portfolio, Infurn could have had a great repeat customer if their deliveries and correspondence about their timing and delays of delivery would have been kept to even basic standards. Unfortunately, this has proven to be far, far below basic standards.

It is unfortunate we did not check web-sites such as Trustpilot.co.uk about Infurn's history as forums like trustpilot.co.uk shows that Infurn / Designfurn Europe are at the very bottom end of delivery and there are repeatedly words relating to "scams" so we don't seem to be alone in our views or experience.

How can this proceed?
