I joined talk talk for their broadband package including phone and TV. My service was due to start on the Friday and no broadband! The rest of Friady and all over the weekend I spent an inordinate amount of time on the phone to their ,
'Engineers' offshore, fobbed off by people Who didn't know what they were on about. BY Monday I had enough and rang talk talk t cancel the contract as within the first 14 days. I was told there would be no cancellation charges and fortunately
Because I hae a Truecall system I have an audio recording of that call. Next talk talk tried to take £130 out of my bank, I called biling who said although wrong they cannot change bill nice set up and to cancel DD. Next a barrage of calls and emails saying I oe talk talk money and they state there ARE cancellation charges, I have reminded them that THEY failed to provide a service AND agreed to cancellation and so it goes on, I have told the I will happily take them to small claim
Court. Don't think if you agree anything with Talk Talk that it will be honoured or even recorded on their system. A disgusting attitude to customers, simply the worst cmapny I have EVER dealt with in my 57 years. Join Them At Your Peril

I know there are other cashback sites around but for me it's Quidco evertime, just excellent support with up to the minute deals. I don't know why you wouldn't want to extract every last bit of value out of a purchase or buying a service? Keep up the good work Quidco!
I have previously bought Kenwood Chef and was very pleased with product, recently bought FP920 food processor and initially happy with it, first time I used the whisk it broke and frankly quite shocked at the poor quality and 'flimsiness' of it, as not a cheap machine! Contacted their customer support to say how unhappy I am with quality of machine and whisk in particular and asked for replacement whisk as minimum, but as relatively new and had registered etc. I would prefer to return/replace machine. Got a fairly unsympathetic reply saying no replacement would be sent, would have to buy new whisk as I had 'misused' the whisk and pointing me to instructions which says the whisk is only to be used for eggs and sugar only and no reference to my complaint that quality of machine not what I expected from Kenwood and price.
I accept I hadn't read instructions, I guess I expected a food processor, particularly a Kenwood costing over a £100 to be able to whisk soft butter and sugar! which I don't think is unreasonable! Frankly, I have seen better quality plastic whisks on a child’s toy, so this, along with unsympathetic response to me as a previously happy Kenwood customer, means I shall not be buying a Kenwood again!
My initial online application kept getting rejected, I rang First Utility and they said they were having IT problems and to persevere which I did. I then rang after hearing nothing to be told multiple applications had resulted in no application and they would do it manualy. Further calls by me clarified that only electricity had been applied for and that no direct debit set up, resulting in delays to both. The major problem is that I cannot log in my online account, I am told this is because of multiple initial applications (their fault) and that their IT section will resolve, WEEKS later I still cannot log in and I have to call their 0845 number for ages and usually give up. Complaints to their customer services result in them not addressing the problem or complaint presented and I wish to God I hadn't changed from my existing provider as I still cannot log in to my online account.
I ordered a truecall unit at a very good price from Extera after riniging first and resolving a few queries I had about the unit. The customer service was A1 as was the next day delivery, I would certainly both reccommend and use Extera again, first class company.
I ordered a strimmer and wet and dry vac as prices were good and reviews were good. Although it was indicated that all items were in stock at time of order, after waiting a few days I got an email saying that the strimmer would take some weeks to be delivered (obviously not in stock then!) I rang and cancelled strimmer which left just the wet and dry vac to be delivered.
I came home one day to find a small package had been delivered and when I opened it, it was a small pump wrench from toolline, along with an invoice for £52.08. I rang toolline and they said if I put item in post they would refund (I should ruddy think so given I hadnt ordered it!) I had to ask about cost of sending 'their' item back and was told they would refund postage. No apology, no sorry for the fact you have to drive to post office to send 'wrong item sent' back.
I did this after a few emails and another telephone call they arranged a refund. Of course I cancelled the wet and dry vacumn the minute they sent me a wrench in its place!
Im afraid I wont use this company again!

I have used Chronos a number of times before and have always had a good experience. They have a great range of engineering goods that are well priced and delivery is fast. In the event you have any sort of problem I have found their customer support excellent. A pleasure to trade with.
At Last! A distance seller who cares about customer service and customer care. I got a great deal, delivered next day with good comms all the way. I will certainly buy again. Thanks
Ordered From The Site For First Time, Impressed With Communication and Speed of Delivery. Very Happy and Will Order Again.
Never heard of Einhell before, but saw a Einhell BG-PM 51SHW 4-in-1 mower advertised on Mow Direct and after checking out the Einhell uk website where it stated that all Einhell products are backed by a 2 year gauruntee and ' an excellent after sales service' I duly bought said mower from Mow Direct.
The first machine delivered was damaged, the replacement appeared ok, built well so on first impressions I was quite happy. However.. On its lowest setting it left the grass longer than any mower I have ever owned or used, some 35mm minimum cut.
I contacted Mow Direct who stated that it did say in specification that minimum cut was 30mm so suggested that I contact Einhell. I started to contact Einhell on 28/4/2011 which is where I started to experience their 'excellent after sales service'!
Emailed 28/4/2011 and as no reply emailed again on 4/5/11 no reply though had email confirmation they had been received.
Rang Einhell customer service 10/5/11. 1st call cut off when I got through!, rang again, after wait got through to advisor (didn’t introduce herself) explained I had been emailing technical support and had no reply, I was asked name and I was swiftly informed she would ask ‘j' to reply to my email and rang off!, no apology or apparent concern regarding non contact.
Wrote to uk manager 16/5/11 via email regarding complaint re lack of response.
Did then get a response from customer advisor via email saying that if I replied with telephone number I would receive a call which I did finaly on 16/5/11.!!
Person seemed helpful and asked that I give her some time to get back to me, thought perhaps might get local agent to look at mower I agreed.
As no response after 2 weeks I emailed on 31/5/2011 to ask if following last contact any decision advice forthcoming. No reply! Though received confirmation emails read.
I rang the UK Einhell customer service on 6/6/2011 to ask to speak to customer advisor from 16/5/11, was told she was busy but would get straight back to me.
Surprise, Surprise no call or contact. I have given up wasting my time to try and get a response after numerous email and calls. Dont know how they can win awards with service like this. Guess I'll trade new machine in somewhere, take a loss and never look at an Einhell again.
Ordered (9/5/11) a stone shower tray and a Traymate from Heat and Plumb and when it arrived (11/5/11) shower tray was smashed and Traymate was damaged. I contacted H&P and was asked to take photographs, on my 2nd contact (12/5/11) I was told I would get a full refund and I could dispose of damaged goods.
At that point I was fairly satisfied, I accept that damage down to courier and these things happen I guess. Then I started chasing the refund! I emailed customer service a couple of times over the next couple of weeks 23/5 and 2/6 to be told accounts dealing with and message passed to them.
As credit card company confirmed no refund pending I contacted them again today 6/6/11 and finaly got a call back from accounts to say refund on desk and would be done 'today or tomorrow'
So after 3 weeks and 3 days and my having to chase I find refund hasn't even been done and that's without time it will now take to process the credit.
The prices are good and staff are pleasant upon contact but dont think I'll order off them again!
