The employees were extremely polite and were able to answer all the questions put to them before buying. Service was fast and friendly. They called half hour before delivery as promised and did all they could to get the fridge/Freezer into the house with minimum stress :-) Fridge/freezer is huge at 2m. Samsung put alot of thought into space in the fridge with plenty of shelving with one shelf that can retract to make half a shelf and can be folded back out of the way. One wine rack. It has two clear drawers and the bottom draw can be set to -5 for fast cooling. The door shelves are adjustable and plentiful. The freezer has three drawers and a small drawer specifically for ice trays but is also deep enough to put fish fingers etc into it. The display on the front is cool. You set time date and can put an alarm on it. You can set a warning when the door remains open. It shows the temp set for the fridge, drawer and freezer. You have a memo pad where you can use type or pencil. Kids love drawing pictures on it. You can transfer pictures to it via an SD card and add a slide show. The only thing that sucks is the Samsung 2 year warrenty. Why can't Samsung customers register online with a guarantee like the other companies?
I have ordered hundreds of items through this company and have had a first class service each time. On the odd occasion I needed to contact them, i.e returns or not recieved a parcel (lost in transit) they have been quick to respond without any fuss. Well done Amazon
City Link Bristol
I recieved a phone call from the Essex office advising that City Link Bristol had tried to deliver a parcel twice and had left a calling card each time and that I would have to pay for a 3rd visit. You can imagine my surprise as I had waited in all week for the parcel and NO-ONE had knocked at the door or left a card. When I asked for proof of this they advised me that the photo that should have been taken of my front door ended up as just sky and clouds! I said I would pick it up instead as this would be easier now. I went to the depot, waited 15 mins for them to find the battered parcel to be told 'ID' no 'please' or any sort of pleasantries associated with customer service. When I said 'What type' and was told passport or something with my picture on, I advised him that I didn't know if I had anything like that on me as I hadn't had a card through the door so I wasn't expected to be asked. I was told by the person behind the counter that 'even if I didn't have a card it was written on the wall behind me, to which I advised him, 'I need to be stood in the depot to read the wall to know I needed that type of ID, so it was pointless as I was already there after driving many miles!' I can't understand why I wasn't told over the phone that I needed that type of ID as they knew I was going to collect the parcel. This is only one of many problems I have had with this depot, other peoples complaints are of a similiar nature, I myself have had at least four diff problems with the same depot. I will be advising the firm that I purchased the parcel off of that I wouldn't recommend City Link in Bristol as a reliable form of delivery and refer them to all the comments giving them 1 star! I nearly had my parcel returned to the original company because of these half wits! I WOULD NOT recommend them to any company. I have written to City Link complaining to see if they do anything.
