BT

Poor Customer Support

Every now and then we all get problems with BT. What I hate is calling BT customer support. Whenever I call they transfer me to BT Pakistan customer support where I have to waste countless hours repeating the problem description over and over again. If I could change one thing about BT it would be UK based customer support.

Waitrose

Brilliant

Have you ever tried shopping at Waitrose after shopping at Tesco? It feels like being on another planet. Don’t often shop there as it’s not very cheap. Best supermarket customer service!

Cheap but..

Always good cheap quotes, but be aware, Tesco policy is weak. Make sure you check all the conditions before buying. I had a real trouble with Tesco Car Insurance when I switched to another company. The new company wanted proof of no claims but Tesco insurance kept providing the wrong document. I was explained that this was due to Tesco changing the underwriter and that the document they were providing was no longer valid proof of NCD. Anyway it took almost 3 months to resolve. I would recommend Tesco for cheap and cheerful quotes only.

Good Customer Support

I wanted to let everyone know that Amazon recently replaced item lost in the post free of charge using a next day delivery. You can always trust Amazon to deliver good quality customer service.

Hidden Business Card Payment Charge

We have stopped using ebuyer after using them for 8 years. Compared to other retailers, they got more and more expensive as the years went on.

Final straw was when they introduced hidden Business Card Payment Charge. Instead of incorporating the charge in the price they are adding it after checkout. As a matter of principle we no longer shop with ebuyer.

Ebay

No reply to support emails

I am due a refund from ebay for listing that was incorrectly listed by ebay, so I have sent 3 emails to their customer support each time getting auto response (we will get back to you in 24 hours). This was 6 days ago and no one bothered to reply back. So much for the customer service.

Further Update: eBay have successfully resolved this and have provided a refund but have not acknowledged a problem. Apparently they have not received any of my emails sent to their customer support. I find this hard to believe as their system has responded with "auto response (we will get back to you in 24 hours)." Never mind, one extra star awarded to ebay for the effort.
