I sent my iphone 4 16gb at the end of October after comparing various sites and seeing that this company were offering the most. They acknowledged they had received it on 11/11/2013 by email and told me the 'good news' that it had already been processed and passed...
'We usually process payment within a few days* for all phones that have successfully passed all tests and let you know as soon as it has been done.'
It is now 18/12/2013 and my account still states payment pending. I have received no communication after this initial email. I have emailed them numerous times and been ignored. I have also tried numerous times to call them (finding their number on a forum as they have removed it from their website and emails!! 0845 460 1064) but I am simply on hold and no one answers. Funny how quick they manage to send out the freepost envelope!
From reading various reviews it appears that after their watchdog appearance, they have stopped conning people with their 'wear and tear' lies and are now simply not paying anyone! This is theft.. and it is bizarre that a company can be getting away with this for so long.
Has anyone actually been paid recently without having to go visit them or go legal? The only option for me now is to go legal. Any advice appreciated as I haven't gone through small claims procedures before.
