The fool who designed my house fitted it out with over a hundred ceiling lights, so it's great to find somewhere I can find the bulbs I need cheaply and get them delivered quickly.
I've ordered from this business on several occasions and delivery is always prompt, I've never had a problem so I've not contacted their customer services to comment on that aspect of their business.
Just bought some new bed sheets from John Lewis and as usual the service was fantastic.
I've never had a problem with the before so I'm a little surprised by some of the reviews on this site.
I ordered the sheets on Sunday evening and they arrived this morning (Wednesday) - so two working days delivery, excellent.
In terms of delivery the PS4 bundle I ordered arrived promptly, but the service this company provides is geared to profit from their customers desperation. I know every business has a profit motive but exploiting a situation to the extent that this business chose to do is unacceptable and unreasonable. I thought this type of black marketeering only happened these days with touts at sporting events - their approach to services seems to be let's see what we can get away with.
The company did keep me updated on the status of my order and when it was being despatched - which is why get one star instead of the none I'd like to give them.
My story starts with son wanting a PS4 for Christmas, SimplyGames was the only place we could find them in stock but they took advantage by charging £100 more than list price.
I tried to contact their customer service team by telephone but they don't seem to have any numbers on their site, I suppose that's indicative of the type of organisation they are - I think this type of approach to customer service is appalling.
The story continues when, because I was dissatisfied with their service, I left a review on Trustpilot - SimplyGames didn't like that I pointed out their improper behaviour and told Trustpilot that I wasn't a genuine customer getting the post removed. It must be difficult (but I don't think it should be) for them to reconcile my Trustpilot profile name with the name on my order, either that or it's just another example of the questionable service they provide.
I've subsequently proved to Trustpilot that I did make an order and so I've been asked to re-submit my review.
I hope this is now acceptable.
