Ordered a bbq, they phoned back within half a hour to say it was not available, gave me a date when stock would be back again and the option to wait for new stock or to cancel the order. I waited and it arrived slightly earlier than expected. I was assured that no money for payment would be taken until goods were dispatched. Although disappointed the stock was not available at time of ordering the process was managed very well, with excellent communication and would not hesitate to order from them again.
The fuss almost outweighted the saving. The battle went on for a couple of weeks becuase the vets '7' looked like a '1' so the 7th month was read as the 1st month and therefore script was out of date, even though the 7 looked nothing like the 1's on the same script ??? if that makes any sense.
Doubt if I would use them again, dont think the saving outweighted the effort, also time in responding to email's to try and solve the problem was shocking, do not expect a response for at least 72 hrs, customer service not high on their priorities
Have tried my local screwfix (Romford) 3 times, each time the item I wanted was not available, and I am talking basic items. On one occassion I needed to check the size of a item to order (lock for front door), when I asked the lady at the counter if she had a tape measure I could use I was verbally abused. Would never set foot in one of these stores again. Son is a electrician and he has also given up on them.
Tesco have forgotten about the customer and it is a pure drive on profits, service doesnt exsist anymore. Visit one of the many poundshops around and you will see how much you have been ripped of on branded products. The huge profits they declare may be good for shareholders but highlights how you and me the eneryday customer are being ripped off, they can afford to lower prices !
