This morning between 8:25am and 8:55am I received four emails and four texts to inform me that my packages were being delivered at some point today. I was extremely excited as the packages were my stroller, carry cot, car seat and car seat/pram adapters which I ordered from Mamas and Papas last Friday for my first baby due in a month! I waited in all day and at 2:20pm the delivery man from Yodel Basildon arrived. He asked me to sign but of course I first wanted to check that all four packages were there. He said there was only three so I told him that there was meant to be four, I'd recieved emails and texts that the four were being delievered today and explained that the sales assistant in the shop said that the fourth package would be in a small bag rather than a big box. He refused to check the back of his van for my fourth package, told me he had other customers to get to and started to take the packages back! I told him that I didn't want him to take the packages back but that I wanted to quickly phone my mum to ask her what I should do as I didn't want to sign when all four of my packages weren't there! As I touched one of the boxes whilst dialling my mum's number, he snatched the box away! I just wanted to read the box to see if perhaps the adaptor a had been put in with the car seat. My sister ran down the stairs because she heard him raising his voice towards me very rudely and she wanted to check I was okay. Whilst I was on the phone to my mum he carried on talking over me so I had to tell him to please be quiet as I was on the phone. My mum suggested I signed for the packages that had arrived but to state that I'd only recieved three and we would just hope the other would soon arrive. He dumped all three of my packages in my door way and left. I couldn't shut my door because there was huge boxes in it AND I couldn't move the boxes myself as I am 35 weeks pregnant! I'm just lucky that my sister was in the house so could help me. Oh and that's another thing, when I asked him to be quiet whilst I was on the phone, he began being rude to my 16 year old sister instead. I'm absolutely appalled! Luckily my fourth package was delivered a few hours later by another man who was very polite and even wished me a happy new year. I will be avoiding Yodel like the plague from now on. I'm absolutely disgusted. Receiving my carry cot, car seat, adaptors and stroller was meant to be a happy, exciting experience but the awful customer service I recieved from the delivery man completely ruined it for me, leaving me almost in tears.
