Easy and reliable

I have been using myHermes for years to have parcels collected from me and delivered onto people whom have bought off me on eBay. I find contact easy, by email with the company or by phone with the couriers. They always come on the date arranged and items re always delivered. I've recently had a Disney delivery made to me and when we weren't home - they kindly left the box with a neighbour. I have no complaints.

Seems XDP are not to blame but all the comapnies they work for?!

We ordered a sofa online just before Christmas and was offered delivery date of today 6/1. We never got a time slot so waited in all day... Used the tracking details on Worldstores site and XDPs, and even phoned Worldstores customer services (as XDP only advertise a local depot email address - they have heard from me tonight, too!). We were told by Worldstores that today's delivery was GUARANTEED to arrive on time. Lo and behold, this promise has not been kept. It seems XDP are blaming all the companies they deliver for, that they have promised who knows how many people delivery in unrealistic timescales. The company has been overwhelmed (awwww!!). I just hope we can now get an achievable delivery date and not get let down again.
We've paid a fair amount for a sofa that looks comfortable enough not to cause me any further back problems, but instead I have backache and the hassle of this non-delivery. My ref is ZWAFJY003357, please let me know when I will have a sofa to sit on and the chance to start recovery of my back!! (I collapsed just before Christmas hence ordering a sofa!!).

Hello Lauren, I am aware you may doubt any explanation i may give you, your consignment was created on Friday the 3rd but has not been released to xdp as yet, All item collected are scanned at the hub.
I will email you the shipment log.

Can't back up their promises

This is a terrible service from Worldstores and for this reason I wouldn't consider another purchase with them. I just hope we can now get an achievable delivery date and not get let down again.

7/10 update: rec'd an email last night just after 8pm to say my delivery had been delayed (!!) & they could not tell me when it would be made. Today I went to DFS and ordered a 3 piece suite & it will be delivered tomorrow. That is service - Worldstores take note!!
