Next Day Delivery was explained as being any time between 8am and 6pm so I dutifully stayed in all day. Nothing. Then at 7.30pm, my bed arrived - well, two thirds of it! The delivery man wasn't particularly clear but just said the last box would come tomorrow. I sent an email to customer services and I have to say they were absolutely fantastic. They were on the case and quickly located the missing box. They emailed and rang me the next day and then got the delivery driver to ring me half an hour before his arrival. It wasn't ideal to have to stay in for two days but they made the best of a bad situation.
Although our house buying process with Hatched has unfortunately just fallen through, for the past 5 months we have been in regular contact with Martin @ Hatched Estate Agents both through our solicitors and many, many phone calls. My husband and I cannot fault the service provided. We have always been given time to talk to get the latest updates on the house and as first time buyers, provided with reassurance and advice in bucketloads.Right from the beginning when booking viewings and receiving email reminders (no other estate agents we dealt with did this) it has been a really positive experience as a buyer. Definitely a very modern and efficient experience.
I am only sorry we are now buying another house through another estate agent! I wonder if they'll be as efficient and approachable! Thanks Martin!
