Madfun

Still waiting for playhouse more than 2 monts later

I ordered a shire playhouse from madfun on 26th april 2011 for my daughters 5th birthday in may. they stated i would recieve WITHIN 28 days... It is now 20th of june and i have still not recieved it as the put the blame on shire although madfun took the money out of my bank when i ordered it. please do not put your trust in this company as i now have a very upset 5 year old who will not even get a full summer out of her playhouse when i finally recieve it.

I'm sorry that you had to eventually cancel your order with us.

The manufacturers, Shire, handle all the distribution and after sales service for any Shire Playhouse sold in the UK. This avoids the playhouses being transported any more than necessary thus reducing the chance of any damage. This year saw a huge increase in sales, much more than was expected or planned for, hence the delivery dates have suffered. We have worked with Shire for a number of years now and always find them to be very efficient and professional; also the playhouses are superb quality for the price. It’s shame this has happened this year, it’s very unusual.

We did process your refund on the day you confirmed you no longer wanted to wait for your playhouse.

I do apologise for the inconvenience caused.
