Technical support from these people is without doubt the worst i have ever encountered anywhere.
I have regularly had problems with emails failing to be sent, but whenever you try to get them sorted out you might as well be talking to a brick wall. Their "service agents" (and I use the term in jest) will never accept that the problem lies with their servers. As far as they're concerned if you use a third party email client such as Outlook, it will always be at fault and they will refuse to investigate.
Even when I have proved beyond all doubt that the problem lies with their technology, they will still deny any responsibility and stick to their script like robots.
I'm coming to the end of my current contract and will definitely NOT be renewing.
I placed an order with a supplier in North Yorkshire on Monday 21/1/13 for next day delivery by DPD. Their communication was excellent and the parcel was scheduled for delivery the following day from their Bristol depot.
On the Tuesday there was heavy snow in North Somerset resulting in the main road over the Mendips becoming impassable, so I wasn't surprised when I was informed delivery wasn't possible. However, it was rescheduled for the following day, with a one hour delivery slot. Sure enough, it turned up during that slot.
I should mention that I am still waiting for a package from UK Mail that was ordered before the DPD item. Very impressed with the service in difficult conditions.
If you're thinking of placing an online order, check who the supplier uses for delivery. If it's UK Mail, go somewhere else.
I have twice ordered goods for supposedly next day delivery. I accept that there can sometimes be delays for reasons beyond the company's control, but both times they took over a week! The first time the tracking information claimed they had attempted to deliver on the third working day, but that was an outright lie as we were definitely home all day.
The second time, during the recent snowfall they claimed inclement weather. In the time since they were supposed to deliver we received deliveries from DPD, Yodel and Parcelforce, in each case delayed by onlt a couple of days. UK Mail don't answer their telephones or respond to emails. Completely useless!
Not only was Go-Electrical's price for the Magimix 5200 one of the best quoted, but their service was also first class as described in other reviews. Communication was prompt and clear and delivery would have been on the first day after ordering, but for the continuing snowfall. The courier company kept me informed and managed to deliver the following day.
I was looking for Craghoppers Travelite overtrousers and went with Taunton Leisure because they had a good price, no delivery charge and good customer reviews.
Their communications were very good and the item was delivered 2 days after placing the order. I was very pleased with the experience and would definitely recommend them.
