I've used CEWE Photobooks to make a photo album for the past few years. I consider the software to be amongst the best available - it is all done on your PC, so not ongoing use of your internet connection, and its really easy to resize photos and move them around. The automated fill is really good to give you a starting point, as it groups pictures by date.
However, I'm a bit disappointed with the quality of the paper this time. The CEWE photobooks used to be printed on a choice of papers, including Gloss or Premium Gloss - I can't remember now which I chose for the last 2 years, but the photos were gorgeous. Now there is no choice and the paper is matt - the photos are not as clear and appear more grainy, though they were taken with the same camera. Bring back the high gloss finish!
We visited London over Christmas and bought a big bus pass to see the sights and save the legs! The London traffic was busy even then, which meant it would have taken 2 hours to go round half the red loop to get from Westminster to Hamleys, so we walked instead. That's one problem of the buses only going in one direction round the loop.
At one point we waited 30 mins for a bus, during which 3 original bus tour buses went
past. Commentary not very thorough - mainly just music, which is pleasant, but not what I'd paid for. Live commentary on red route good. And boat cruise excellent.
For the amount we used this, it wasn't very good value.
