Agree with other reviews
I had the same experience as the previous two reviewers but I pushed them and finally got my playhouse after about 6 weeks.
Then the real hassles began as the manufacturing company, Shire, has the worst customer service and quality control in the world.
Firstly, they called me at 1:30pm on the day of delivery to say that it wasn't going to be delivered due to quality control issues.
On the rearranged day because I couldn't be there to receive the playhouse I gave them instruction to leave it on the driveway. In the end they did not deliver until 6:50pm when I was at home. There was only one driver who would never have been able to unload the pallet on his own. In fact I had to help him and I ended up dropping my end because the item was heavy and wet due to the rain.
On construction there were missing windows and splits in the supports for the playhouse. Worse was that they cut the felt to the same length as the playhouse roof which didn't allow any overhang of the felt.
Because of the weather I needed the felt asap so i had to buy my own because the couldn't deliver the next day and even then it didn't arrive on the agreed day (Friday) but on the following Monday.
Since delivery I've had two phone calls from Shires informing me of my delivery date for my playhouse!
All in all, both companies should be avoided. Go local for your playhouse because at least there will be a face you can complain to if things go wrong.

Reliable and on time - both times!
Normally I would only write a review when I am complaining about a company (as I suspect most people would do) but I had to say how fantastic DPD have been in delivering two completely separate orders in two successive weeks.
Love the fact I receive SMS and e-mail updates from them including the one-hour expected delivery slot. Both times they have delivered on these promises.
Best courier company I've used.

I'm sorry that you had to wait so long for your playhouse, and the final delivery didn’t go quite according to plan.
The manufacturers, Shire, handle all the distribution and after sales service for any Shire Playhouse sold in the UK. This avoids the playhouses being transported any more than necessary thus reducing the chance of any damage. This year saw a huge increase in sales, much more than was expected or planned for, hence the delivery dates have suffered. We have worked with Shire for a number of years now and always find them to be very efficient and professional; also the playhouses are superb quality for the price. It’s shame this has happened this year, it’s very unusual.
