I placed an order for a bed with furniture123. I ensured the bed was in stock and available as next day delivery as I needed the bed as soon as possible. I ordered on the Tuesday evening and received a text message the following evening stating delivery would take place on Thursday 9th.
I waited in all day and the bed did not turn up. I spoke to someone at furniture123 who assured me the bed was in stock, had been despatched and would be delivered the following day. Before I rang them I had sent them an emessage, the emessage was replied to an hour or so after my phone call and then I was told the bed was not in stock.
Not only was it not in stock, but they have no dates and no idea when it would be back in stock again.
I requested a cancellation. I had to send numerous messages asking for confirmation that my order had been cancelled and my refund processed. They did reply to my messages, but I got a template/copy & paste response each and every time.
It took nearly a week for me to get my money back from them and they STILL have the (out of stock) bed listed as in stock and available as next day delivery now!
I think The Muppets are running this company!
I ordered 2 beds from a local company and unfortunately XDP were the carriers. I received 1 whole bed and 2/3rds of the other bed. XDP split the consignment at the delivery depot and decided not to deliver the headboard part.
The delivery driver noticed I was missing a package, but promised it would be delivered the following day. It wasn't.
The company I bought from have had to pick up a the other parcel themselves from the warehouse and they dropped it off personally. Despite them calling XDP numerous times since the item failed to be delivered, XDP have not answered their phone calls and ignored my emails too.
Terrible company, I'd have given them a 0 stars if Trustpilot allowed it.
