Help! No part, no refund, no working vacuum

Ordered vacuum hose part after checking it resembled the photos on the website. Part that was sent however was different. Called to arrange for correct part to be delivered and return wrong one. Advisor stated without hesitation that I must have ordered the wrong part and I would not get a full refund. He tried to order a new part but his computer crashed three times (you are linked to PC World-get him a new one), he transferred me to a colleague which turned out to be a repair technician who told me that you do not repair that vacuum. I had to explain it all again and he transferred me. Bloke number 3 got the full explanation then could not find the new part. He didn't think it existed even though I had seen it 20 mins before on the website. He sent an enquiry somewhere and there the contact ends. All in all, 40 minutes of my life I will never see again, no part and no refund. This was on an 0844 number so if I do get a refund it will help pay my phone bill.
